Description
α-Conotoxin MI is a neurotoxic peptide containing 14 amino acids and two disulfide bonds, derived from the venom of the marine cone snail species Conus magus. α-Conotoxin MI acts on the postsynaptic membrane on muscle and has attracted much attention in pharmacological research and drug development due to its unique structure and ability to selectively target nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs).
